About the Artist Liz Taylor, Cr.Photog. Liz has always had a passion for photography. It started with travel, nature, and wildlife photography, but grew into a love for the art of portraiture. Liz was a mechanical engineer in Corporate America for 5 years before following her dream and opening Legacy Studios. Now she enjoys creating unique, beautiful portraits for her clients. Liz is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and the Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA). What to Wear Keep it simple! Solid colors are always preferred over patterns. Outfit changes are not a problem, but remember your child's patience is limited. For group photos, try to coordinate colors and styles, but everyone does not need to be exactly the same. Newborns and babies photograph best in their birthday suits. Bare feet are great ... who doesn't love a baby's little piggys! Your Appointment All of our sessions are "on location." For newborn portraits, your home is a great option ... it is where your baby is most comfortable and it is the easiest option for you. Your home is also where older children are most comfortable. For outdoor locations, the possibilities are endless ... there are several beautiful locations in the Northern Atlanta area. We can discuss location options when you call to schedule your session. Mornings and Evenings are the best for outdoor lighting, but we can make any time of day work beautifully as long as there is some nice shade available. The most important thing to consider is your child's schedule and when he or she will be the happiest.
